The Ultra Sexy Vanquish Lounge by Blessin McCoy-Thompson
Hung out at Alex Gidewon, the successful promoter behind the AG Entertainment brand and host to some of Atlanta’s hottest nightlife destinations new spot Vanquish the past 2 Fridays, my fourth experience in all and I must say it’s truly a HOT spot!!!!! The ultra-sexy environment from the strict dress code to the Miami/ Vegas style design, will have you feeling like a star when you walk through the lavish doors of Vanquish.
From my experience thus far there are no issues with being held up at the door, which we know tends to happen a lot in this city. Security lets the men know up front that you must have on hard bottom shoes, and a collared shirt to be allowed entry. As of now…. entry to Vanquish is free all night on Friday nights. SHOCKING!!! They only ask that you rsvp beforehand. So if you’re looking for a great place to party with no cover, Vanquish is that spot for now. Knowing how AG Entertainment likes to get to the money, a cover is sure to come, but I’ll assure you that the ambiance that Vanquish has, it would be definitely worth it. To add to the lavishness, the entrance is red carpeted with beautiful girls wishing you a good night at the door as you walk into the club.
When you walk into Vanquish the atmosphere is a force to be reckoned with. The murals on the walls are so beautiful and life like, with graphics of exotic woman and animals enticing you from every direction. The ladies and gents are dressed from head to toe. Most places I go the women are pretty much always on point but the men win the award here. The men are suited and booted in there tailored suits, blazers and bowties, clean, classic and well groomed men are definitely in the building. And I’m enjoying the eye candy. Ladies no dudes with tighter jeans than you in this place… Lol
And it’s obvious that Vanish is becoming a more and more popular spot. Another thing I really loved about Vanquish’s atmosphere is that there’s always a crowd, but you’re able to walk around, mingle and be seen. But…. this past Friday, I had a little flash back of other clubs that I won’t mention where there is just no room to move around at all. Vanquish isn’t there but Friday I felt like it was getting close. I had to wait like 15 mins to squeeze my way in to the bar to order my drink, so I ordered two so I wouldn’t have to go back through the struggle so quickly. And just to let you know, the drinks we good, nice and strong and not all watered down. My Patron Margarita and Apple Martini had me feeling quite lovely!!!!!
All and all my friends and I had a great night! It was a good friend of mine birthday and we partied hard, and kept the Patron shots coming. The music was great; didn’t feel like I was listening to the same mix that every Atlanta Dj shares a copy of. (As my brother calls it, “Bow Bow music”) If I’m not mistaken, Dj Baby Yu and Dj Kemit provided the soundtrack for our listening pleasures. There was a little Biggie, Diddy, Wayne, Rick Ross, some old school Brandy, Lauren Hill, good music. Vanquish is definitely the spot if you have friends in town to show off your city and ensure that they have a good time. So as the night came to an end we had a blast and I look forward to my next visit. I’ll be checking out the next door spot Reign very soon
Until next time…
